A great start for our Early Career Teachers

Toowoomba Catholic Schools (TCS) is delighted to welcome a new cohort of outstanding graduate teachers to our esteemed educational community across the Toowoomba Diocese. In January, we proudly introduced our Early Career Teachers (ECTs) at the TCS induction, setting the stage for their success. These enthusiastic new educators are poised to make a significant impact on their students' lives as they embark on their teaching journeys.

During the two-day induction, our new teachers were immersed in the TCS culture and the Support to Succeed Program. They focused on acquiring essential knowledge and skills to prepare for their initial days in the classroom. This included understanding the unique aspects of working in a Catholic school, familiarising themselves with the Teaching and Learning in TCS framework, mastering classroom management techniques, and recognising the importance of building professional relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

As a community, we are excited to witness the remarkable contributions these teachers will make and look forward to the achievements they will inspire. Here's to a fantastic year ahead! We eagerly anticipate hearing about their experiences and successes.
