Parents continue to choose a Catholic education for their kids
Sustained growth in enrolments has continued in Catholic schools across the Toowoomba Diocese.
Executive Director: Toowoomba Catholic Schools, Dr Pat Coughlan, said: “I feel very privileged to be leading an organisation where families from all over south-west Queensland and Toowoomba put their trust in us to deliver a high quality Catholic education for their children.
“A number of Catholic schools including St Joseph’s Primary School, Chinchilla; Mater Dei Primary School, Toowoomba; St Thomas More’s Primary School, Toowoomba; and St John's School, Roma have welcomed additional students into Prep classes this year.
Enrolment growth has continued across the Toowoomba primary schools and Mary Mackillop Catholic College as it continues to grow in the secondary years.
“We are continuing to invest in infrastructure, facilities and building upgrades in our schools. Assumption College, Warwick, Mater Dei Primary School, Mary MacKillop Catholic College, St Saviour’s College, and St Joseph’s College, Toowoomba are embarking on significant refurbishments and expansion this year. In fact well over $10 million will be invested into Catholic schools this year,” said: Dr Coughlan.
Our focus is squarely on student achievement and wellbeing, ensuring that every student achieves academic success and comes to know and experience the loving presence of Jesus in their lives. These are the most important and telling measures of our success and effectiveness as a group of educators.
